I went to the transfer orientation yesterday at school. I'm really glad I have more than 15 credits, this means I dont have to take any of the freshman life courses. It's fantastic. There were 22 of us with the art interest, and I was the only person there that had submitted a portfolio and had it accepted. All of the 2D Design and Drawin I classes were completely full, but they had reserved me spots in these classes because of this! They're not the most ideal, schedule-wise, but beggers cant be choosers and I'm actually pretty happy. I have the science class with lab out of the way because of Geology, I have French credit, and I never ever have to take another english class in my entire life. So I'm almost halfway through with General Education. I can focus on art for now, yayyyy.

My schedule is basically this:
Monday: 2D Design and Color Theory 6:30pm- 9:15pm
Tuesday: American Government 8am-9:15am ; Math 1101 5pm-6:15pm
Wednesday: 2D Design and Color Theory 6:30pm-9:15pm
Thursday: American Government 8am-9:15am ; Math 1101 5pm-6:15pm
Friday: Drawing I 9:30am-3:15pm

Honestly, the best part about Orientation was sitting in the big room with 200 students listening to some important person give us boring information, and the fat black girl beside me going "I am FUH-reezing! I am SO cold! It is ICY up in here, let me tell you!" It was halarious to me and I said "I hear ya, girl." and she was all "mmmmmm-hmmmmmm"

I met a guy who told me I was cool, and I talked to a guy that also carries around a harmonica wherever he goes. I talked to a couple of other people too. My sister would have been pretty much proud of me.

As for my roommate, Megan decided to pass up a two room one bath suite with me to life with three people. I'm kind of sad because I was really looking forward to her. Oh well. My new roommate's name is Victoria and I dont really have a way to contact her. I guess I'll just talk to her when we move in! Anyway, my mom and I are going dorm room shopping for me today. Wheeee.

I'm really excited about going to school now. After being on campus all day yesterday and touring the art building and seeing my room, I'm really ready to go. I really like Kennesaw, it's a very pretty place. Everyone there seems to be very active, too. Like there was tai chi going on in the campus green at one point, and I saw lots and lots and lots of people and groups out running or working out. I really like that. I'm going to have a lot of time in the morning to go work out.

Well, I actually had an exciting July 4th. I thought I was going to be all alone and everything, but I wasnt. I went to the parade at 9:30, and it began at 10. I saw my sister march by and that was that. Two and a half hours later it is finally over and I can go home. I got stuck in traffic on the way home and didn't get back until almost two. Norm, Wendy, Casey and Brandon and Morgan came over very soon after that and we all swam in the pool for a couple of hours. Casey and co. were going to watch the fireworks at the mall, so I decided to go with and they adopted me for the day. I went and it was them and Brandon's sister's family. We had burgers and watched the fireworks, it was pretty fun. I'm Morgan's new best friend, she calls me Jujuan. So cute. I got home at like one in the morning. Okay, whatever. Here are the pictures.

Well my sister went to her friend's because they're all in the parade tomorrow. So I have like two days by myself and I have plans, right? I'm going to get all of my packages together. I also have ATC swaps to do and such. I'm finally going to have the house to myself- so I can record all of the songs I have stacked up and stuff. Now when I say these things, they sound like small things. Honestly, they're not. Recording for me is quite the big production because I have to have all of my equipment working right and working together and it takes up a lot of space, so I pretty much have to set up a whole new table for all of this stuff. So that's what I did, I set it all up, and I installed all of my software on my computer. And then...

my computer decided to heavy-malfunction. Nothing would open, and everything that would open froze. The only things I can get to work are virus scans (which come up completely sparkly clean) and iTunes. I cant figure out what's wrong, I even restored back to an earlier date and everything, it's still screwed up. I really can not deal with this happening. This is a brand new fucking computer and it shouldn't put me through this. That means I have to completely wipe the computer to fix whatever's gone wrong. Thank god for external harddrives. I put all of my files on it and I still have leftover space. I'm kind of pissed that I still dont have my amazing Photoshop CS3 crack, but I'll just have to download it again. GRAWR.

So I've wasted 5 hours trying to fix what went wrong and I have only barely begun the restoration process. So much for getting anything done today. Im using my mother's computer again and her keyboard is so much different from mine that it's crazy.

On a better note, I am dying of suspense from doctor who. That and my dear Torchwood was sooooo cool in ep 12.

I've been watching The Secret Diary of a Call Girl and I really enjoy it. Piper is very glam and I'm happy because I can make glam icons and I never get to make pretty girly icons because I normally dont watch anything for that. I finished up to ep five last night. I plan on watching the remaining three episodes today.
I've seen Get Smart twice now. Its very funny, and I liked it better the second time because I wasnt expecting the show.
I saw Hulk the other day. It was pretty good but I cant get into that.

I want to make a website where I can stick all of my crap. I know I can get a .tk domain, right? I just dont know about hosting. 100MB.com is okay for my writing site, but I dont think it's going to cut it for what I have in mind. Plus I have to make a layout and that's what I hate the most. I know how, I just dont like it. Like I've been meaning to make a new layout for my LJ for a long time but I just dont want to. I could go get one, but I want to make one. So I want to make it myself but I actually dont want to make it. So if you see a new layout later today, that's a new layout.

So we came home yesterday (Sunday) and it was a normal flight and blahblahblah. Its SO good to be home, though.

Yes, I've realized that Im not in many of my pictures. I'll have to get my mom's memory stick and see if I'm in any of those pics and I might make a supplemental post later.

Well, Im in LA. So far it's been pretty good. We got here Sunday and walked around Venice Beach and yesterday we drove down to the San Diego Zoo. Today we went to the Getty Center and we hit up Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

Under the cut is going to be insanely image-heavy, I know- as I had to up them to Sharapic and it took ages. But there are lovely pictures of animals and plants and my family, so... yeah, whatever.

Well, for my birthday I got a Wii and some Daleks. None of my yesasia stuff got here in time for that but whatever.

We left TimeGate yesterday around 3 and came home. I was happy to be home and I ended up paying My Sims (wii) until like two in the morning, that game is really fucking cute. No joke, it's like the cutest thing ever. Octomania is also very cute, but very hard.

Overall, TimeGate was really great. There were some people in some panels that were just really annoying, like the girl in the Science of Dr. Who panel who asked what 'Relative Dimensions' meant. Grazier the science dude was awesome again, but he was really sick the whole time and I kinda felt sorry for him. Tony Amendola was fantastic to listen to, and John Levene was really funny... until you heard his jokes a few times. He did have a good personality though. In the Con Suite during lunch Saturday he made puns on the word 'Peas' for like 5 minutes for me. My favorite panel was the Torchwood one, where we ended up having to make a timeline of Captain Jack because we all became so confused in the end. I also enjoyed all of the panels with Kevin Grazier, he's a cool science guy. My sister hung out in the game room late at night roleplaying with all of the other gamers, I guess. The two guys running the game room were nice. Food was pretty hard to obtain sometimes. It was a really small convention, probably not even a hundred people in all, but that was great because it became a very personal experience.

My birthday was more or less uneventful, but still pretty good. Daniel called me during a panel, I hung up on him but I called him afterwards. I was expecting him to wish me a happy birthday but instead it was "I GOT LAID! TWICE!" fjkda So I made him sing to me anyway. Lil sent me a text and Dmitri was nice enough to call from Carl's phone to give me half a sentence.

Today Sarah came over and the three of us are playing Wii. We went to lunch at Tony's with my grandmother and stuff, it was pretty good. She got me Torchood Season 1 for my birthday. I bought some scratch-offs because I can but I didnt win anything. "Golden Ticket" sounded really lucky to me, but it wasnt.

Anyways, today is the last day of TimeGate for me. It's been pretty awesome. The hotel internet connection has been really botchy and I've been trying to comment on everyone's posts and such and it's not happening. I'm suprised that I could even get to this page. So because of this, I also can't upload any pictures for you right now. It's really not happening.

I just took my last exam and snuck out of class to come home early. The art exam was super easy, and the government exam was mindless. Saw Stephanie and she actually wrote something really nice in my yearbook, so that made me really happy.

After my Koji Seto icon dumping yesterday, there have been like 3 new magazine posts with him and I think I might die. I shoulda waited to post icons, yeah? Plus there was a NissyxYuichi photoshoot somewhere and I exploded a little inside. I keep going to watch Rookies and like, I'm going to and then I don't.

Anyway... school is boring the shit out of me. I go to art and do absolutely nothing and then I go to government class and do absolutely nothing. I am bored out of my mind. I still have to put up with this crap for a few more weeks, too! Gaklsdjffferhy.

I'm not going to say that I never get to do what I want to do, but really that's what I want to say. I should be able to decide when it's for me. I dont want to go to KSU, but that's where I'm going because it was my last choice and I fucking deserve better than this and I shouldnt have to go there and I dont want to go there and Im not excited about it and I'd rather stay at UWG. Now, if I do ever get my SCAD acceptance/declination letter, I'm going to be even more pissed off. I dont get to do what, or be who, I wanted. I hate this.

Today I made an Adipose! I now have my very own fat baby (literally!)!
I knew that I had white fabric, so I didn't think about getting any new fabric at all. When I was finally ready to made my little baby Adipose, I discovered that my fabric was really thin, flimsy, see-through fabric. I decided to go on with it anyway, and everything was going well. When I finally started to stuff it, some of the seams started to come out. I sewed these up really fast with some embroidery thread. My fabric's so flimsy that you can see all the pattern lines and the extra peices of black embroidery thread right through to the outside. But... it's okay because my Adipose is so cute it kills me.

I drew this picture for Keith's 50th birthday, it's his airplane, the Chipmunk. I didn't go to the party, but I heard it was a big hit.

Yesterday in Government class we had a cookout to celebrate our overly-fantastic EOCT scores for Economics. Pill and Smiley grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and the rest of us brought foods. I was bullied into bringing chocolate chip cookies, but I dont really mind much. Overall, the cookout was really fun, and I'm even more convinced that Mr. Martin thinks I'm incredibly odd. I'm kind of upset by that. We played some tossing-around-a-football too. That was pretty fun, considering that I completely suck but it was still fun. Anyway, I took a lot of pictures and upload three random ones. I'm not even sure which three pictures these are yet.

I saw a bumble bee and took a picture of it and Micah was like "Dude... you are seriously the ONLY person that would react to a fucking bee like that. Most people either freak out or ignore it and you're just like 'oooh, I'll take a picture!' like that."

I'm going to be finishing my octopus in art class eventually... this is how far I am now. It's all plastered up and has the white base coat now.

I'm addicted to making these little paper stars! I really cant frakin stop making these. I've filled up half of a gallon ziploc storage bag with them so far. Aren't they cute?

Geology lab is over now. Came out of that with an A, cool. Turned in my literature paper yesterday, not worried about that final- but worried about all the quizzes I did flunk. one more Geology lecture class... I'm sad, I really enjoyed that class. I dont have to take the final for that, as I've gotten A+s on all of my exams so far and he drops the lowest exam grade, that includes the final. So... yeah. Its just literature I have to worry about. But after it's over I dont ever have to take any literature ever again, hurrah.
